Piano Lessons

Ages 5+

I strive to develop every aspect of the student’s musicianship by incorporating music history, aural skills, sight-reading, improvisation, composition, rhythm tapping, and duet practice! For my more kinesthetic learners, I incorporate lots of movement (e.g. dancing with scarves, conducting, marching to the beat, etc.). For my more auditory learners, I incorporate a bit of singing and pitch-matching into the lessons. Students will be exposed to a multitude of genres, learning to read standard music notation as well as lead sheets.

Piano teaching levels range from beginner to late intermediate.
